This past spring, my dear friend Emily (from The Ganeys) was staying with us because she had back to back weddings in Florida (she lives in San Francisco). While she was in town she scheduled an inspirational shoot at the iconic Vizcaya Museum and Gardens. She generously offered me the opportunity to join her. Of course, I accepted! Shooting a Vizcaya Museum and Gardens wedding has literally been on my bucket list since I started this company over eight years ago! So thankful that Emily invited me to participate in this crazy adventure!

We woke up really early and hit the road to head to Miami. We met up with Jen, owner, and designer at Bourbon and Blush Events. These two ladies were the masterminds behind all the yummy design and details from this day.  They chose an elegant wedding invitation suite by Emily Baird Design. It was a clean and regal suite with delicate floral touches. Fun fact: the invitation liner came straight from Italy! What a perfect way to celebrate the style of Vizcaya. Our bride wore the most unique Ines Di Santo gown I have seen. It was a low and fluttery dress designed with layers of tulle covered with the most sparkling jewels. S T U N N I N G!  Laura Reynolds Artistry created a bridal look that was natural and fresh for the bride’s makeup and I love how she styled her curls in the most effortless-I-just-woke-up-like-this-look! Lastly, that bouquet by FH Events. I wish you all could smell that bouquet through these photos. It was delightful.

Every part of this day was a gift, even the 10-hour roundtrip drive to South Florida! I loved getting to spend all the quality time with Emily! Working by her side is easily one favorite things! What a joy it was connecting with the talented team of vendors that brought this day together.  At one point, we were all trying to play matchmaker with our models. Don’t they look perfect together? We thought they deserved a chance at love….together. (we were not successful)

Thank you to Jen and Emily for creating and coordinating such a stunning styled shoot which turned into one of my most memorable shooting experiences this year!
