HI, FRIEND!

Ke’Ke & Tim – Gainesville Wedding Photographer

Oct 2, 2020

Photographer: Ingrid Carney

I got Ke’Ke and Tim behind my camera one morning late this summer. It was a beautiful morning. I usually schedule most of my sessions in the evenings, but that yummy morning glow has made me consider switching all my sessions to morning now.

One thing I immediately noticed about these two was how incredibly patient they were with me during our shoot. I was testing out a new camera and that came with a major learning curve for me. They gave me such grace as I found my way with this camera.

The other thing I noticed about them, was how much they adored each other. They are very relaxed with each other and really listened intently to each other as they talked. I could see how much they truly just enjoy being together.  It was sweet to watch Tim flirt with Ke’Ke and make her giggle in front of the camera.

In their generous kindness, they surprised me a few weeks after their session with a few goodies, including a gift card to my favorite Asian restaurant in town and some books for my littles. So very thoughtful.

Ke’Ke and Tim, loved my time getting to know you guys. Let’s do this again…before ten years go by. lol

How did you two meet? Two of our mutual friends introduced us at a high school football game. I was a cheerleader and Tim was a spectator.

What do you love most about each other? Keke – There are so many things that I love about Tim, but what I love most, is that he has a good heart and is always willing to lend a helping hand.

Tim – I love that Ke’Ke is considerate and compassionate towards others. I also love her love of God and people.

Tell us your proposal story. Tim took me to watch my very first Orlando Magic’s game for my 21st birthday. The game was at home, versus the Utah Jazz. We went to the game and had a phenomenal time! The Magics won, so that was enough to celebrate, or so I thought. Following the game, we went to Chilis for dinner, and as we walked outside, Tim got down on one knee and asked me to marry him, and of course, I said yes! {Tim’s plan was to propose while on the “Kiss Cam”, however, he was unable to coordinate with the Magics in time for the game.} He thought that I should include that detail. Haha

What is the best thing you’ve learned from each other? The best thing that we’ve learned from each other is how to compromise and be accommodating of each other’s needs and wants.

What’s the secret to having a successful relationship? Putting God at the center of your marriage, in addition to being honest and trusting. Listening and communicating with one another are also necessary for a successful relationship.
