Bridal Session | Chapel Hill Wedding Photographer

As a photographer, I love when I get to shoot bridal sessions! Not only because it gives me a sneak peek of a bride’s lovely gown, but because it gives me even more time to spend with my clients getting to know them. For most brides, your wedding dress is one of the biggest decisions you will make during your wedding planning, as it sets the tone and style for your wedding. And let’s be honest, who doesn’t want to look their absolute best on their wedding day. A bridal session with your photographer is a perfect time to have a trial run. Get your hair and makeup trial, a mock of your bridal bouquet and wear your dress for an hour and a half. What better way to see how you will look and feel on your wedding day!

What a beautiful day it was capturing Shonna’s bridal portraits! To quote Mean Girls, “Not too warm and not too cold. All you need is a light jacket.” LOL But seriously, the weather was perfection. So was the venue. The Parlour at Mann’s Chapel, Chapel Hill was the perfect backdrop for these bridal portraits. The grounds are peaceful, elegant, and the team that works on-site treated us with good ole southern hospitality. The beautiful greenery, blooming flowers, and gorgeous Southern porch was the perfect backdrop for a glowing bride, just like Shonna. Shonna was so easy to photograph. She has an effortless demeanor about her and her smile is truly contagious. Our Southern bride was right at home at this beautiful venue as she prepared for her wedding day!
