Brittany and Laz met each other while they were in high school!  They fell in love under those Friday Night Lights. You see, Laz was on the varsity football team and Brittany was a varsity cheerleader.  Fast forward ten years, they now have four kiddos and a love that is rooted deeply in their commitment to each other (and football).  Brittany told us that she is still very much in love with that tall, handsome football jock she fell for in high school. 

Brittany described their engagement as “utterly magical!” For the past few years, her family would make a trip to Disney to attend Mickey’s not so scary Halloween. This trip her parents and their seven grandkids dressed up as Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. Brittany had no idea that she was going to leave Disney with a ring on her finger.  Her family decided to attend the Monsters INC show (she thought because it was hot outside and everyone wanted to be in the air conditioning). Laz was picked to be a participant in the show…Brittany told us that she was so ecstatic because they had never been picked before for something like a live show. Next thing she knew, Laz was on one knee asking Brittany to marry him! (as part of the show!) 

We think it’s pretty safe to say that this trip was Brittany’s happiest time at the “happiest place on earth!” 😉
