I’m so thrilled to introduce you to Kim, our talented new Associate Photographer and the sweet answer to our prayers! If you haven’t read our last blog post, I’d love to encourage you to check it out! It explains the story behind both the need and the process of hiring Kim.
After spending those four LONG WEEKS seeking the Lord’s direction on who to hire, Wayne and I were both filled with so much peace about adding Kim to our team. Just the thought of calling her to offer the position left me in so many happy tears. She is a gift that has exceeded all of our expectations from the very beginning. I’m telling you, invite the Lord into your decisions and you will be left in awe. I’m so thankful for her servant’s heart, her exceptional gift of connecting with our clients (and their guests!), and her ability to deliver beautiful photos.
As MP’s Associate Photographer, she will be accepting weddings that will take place this fall. In between her weddings, she will be spending her time shooting family portraits, engagement sessions and second shooting for my weddings! Kim’s clients will receive the same attention, pointers, timelines, photo editing, and service that all Molliner Photography clients receive.
We are all so about excited for her future here at MP! We’ve interviewed her below, so you have a chance get to know her better.
Where are you from? I’m originally from central Wisconsin but went to high school in Illinois and college in Indiana. My husband and I have lived in Gainesville since 2010 and would consider this home!
Why do you love about photography? My favorite thing about photography is the opportunity to capture a story that will live on forever. I have been absolutely obsessed with photos since high school – I was always the friend with a camera making sure to document all the moments.
What makes you come alive/fills your tank? I am an extreme extrovert who comes alive most from being with other people. I love making memories with my family and friends.
What is your favorite food? I love chicken salad, burger, and breakfast foods!
Who is your favorite musical artist? I don’t have a specific artist but my favorite genres of music are country and Christian. In the summertime, one of my favorite things is driving in our truck, windows down, blasting country and sipping on an ice-cold Coke!
Your favorite hobbies? Some of my favorite hobbies are working out with my husband and friends in our garage, dating my husband, playing with our kids, scrapbooking, and enjoying coffee at Starbucks!
What is your favorite treat? Hands down, my favorite treat is a DQ Blizzard with chocolate ice cream and Reese’s peanut butter cups!
What are you grateful for today? Today I am grateful for the Lord’s kindness and goodness. I feel so fortunate over the past year to have celebrated 10 years of marriage and 5 years as a mommy to our son and daughter. I am grateful to join the Molliner Photography team and to serve others through photography, which gives me great joy.

What’s something that no one knows about you? Both my husband and I have a fraternal twin brother.
