Emily + David had an intimate ceremony and reception in the middle of the Ocala National Forest. This wedding was incredibly signifcant to me because of the special people involved. This sweet family has been a part of my life for 6 years now. They have been partners in my marriage, parenting and even this business. We do life together.
I’ve had the pleasure of witnessing some really special moments in the lives of these two. When David proposed, he requested that Wayne and I to capture the moment he got down on one knee and asked Emily to spend the the rest of her life with him. We then traveled with them to Savannah to celebrate their engagement.
This wedding was FULL of joy, pretty details and personal touches. They got married during sunset, in front of a stunning geometric backdrop, which the groom built. Everyone shared a meal together under market lights, eating on farmhouse tables that their families made by hand. We sat in wooden mismatched chairs they spent months hunting for at local yard sales. They shared their first dance on a bunch of family rugs, one even belonged to me! Guests sipped coffee and hot chocolate using mugs belonging to Emily and her sisters. Emily even wore her grandmother’s mink coat as she shared a danced with her father. Every single detail was put together with the hands that love this couple the most…dearest family members and friends. My favorite kind of wedding team.
