We love this holiday season! How sweet that there is holiday completely dedicated to posturing our hearts toward gratitude. As a team, we desire to be people who remember that every good thing in our lives is an undeserved blessing from God. We can always find reasons to be grateful everywhere we look, rather than feeling entitled and disappointed by the hard or challenging times. This is what Thanksgiving can do for each of us. We would love to encourage you to pause this week and reflect on the good in your life. You might find it harder to see this year (and that’s okay!), but we bet that gifts, graces, and God’s kindness are to be found somewhere. We hope that your Thanksgiving is filled with the sweetest of memories as you step away from work and focus on what matters most.
“We can only be said to be alive in those moments when our hearts are conscious of our treasures.” — Thornton Wilder
While it was a tougher year, the Lord has spoiled me! I literally say this all of the time, but I am so grateful Selah was brought into our lives. She was the surprise gift that was my favorite gift. She is so joyful and has softened my heart in a new way. Plus, watching Ethan and Wayne legit swoon over her makes me lose it. I’ve fallen deeper in love with my boys. – Ingrid
I am grateful the Lord brought our daughter into our lives. -Wayne
I am so grateful that the Lord grew our family this year. In April we welcomed our third, Trulie Grace, She just turned 7 months old and is as sweet as can be. She is such a joy to be around and is absolutely smitten with her big brother and sister. -Kim
Psalm 16:11 “You make known to me the path of life; in Your presence, there is fullness of joy; at Your right hand are pleasures forevermore.” I’ve been learning and re-learning the joy of being still in His presence and it genuinely leaves me in tears every time. – Ingrid
Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, rejoice. Let your reasonableness be known to everyone. The Lord is at hand; do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” I love that the call is to rejoice always and that through prayer with thanksgiving God’s peace will guard us. In the midst of unknowns, I find comfort to seek the Lord and trust in what He’s called us to. – Kim
Ephesians 3:6 This mystery is that the Gentiles are fellow heirs, members of the same body, and partakers of the promise in Christ Jesus through the gospel. – Tori
John 10: 10 is a verse that stirs my heart with gratitude. “I have some so that they may have life, more better than they ever dreamed possible.” This verse is picture of how Jesus chose to leave the joy and beauty of heaven so that he could bring me the gift of grace and intimacy with him. My life is better than I dreamed possible, because he came. – Ashley
