Happy 4th of July, friends! [well a day early…once you see this session, you’ll understand why I couldn’t wait to share these!]

This is my ALL-TIME FAVORITE holiday! So it’s a pretty big deal in the Carney household. We usually host a gathering for our friends and family at Carney Casa. We pull out the tackiest red-white-and-blue decorations and fill every corner of our home. Wayne is the grill-master in our house so he barbecues a feast with all the yummy things. Real talk: all I care about eating is as many hot dogs as possible. Isn’t that why July 4th is celebrated? It’s the only holiday where it’s socially acceptable to eat hotdogs and corn on the cob! My two favorite things! Yumz! At some point in the day, a dance-off or a game of Catan is bound to happen. It’s definitely one of my favorite days of the year!

This photoshoot with the Staples family reminded me of the things I love about the 4th of July! Being together with family, popsicles and a sunshiny Florida afternoon. [the only thing missing was hotdogs, my boys, and fireworks] Get ready for some MAJOR July 4th cuteness!
