I met up with Brooke & Sean for the first time while they were spending a month in my hometown of West Palm Beach. They were both working from home full-time at the time so they figured, “Why not trade DC life for tropical life?”
On the day of their engagement session, we had the most beautiful weather. South Florida graced us with sunshine and no humidity! Miracle. I’d like to think it was the perfect ending to their month in Florida before returning to DC’s cooler weather. Brooke wore a chic blue floral dress with puff sleeves. It had flirty vibes and she looked amazing in it! Also, let’s talk about her blue engagement ring?! It gives off some M A J O R Kate Middleton vibes! I am here for it!
We strolled through some of my favorite streets in my hometown. This time of year it’s packed with people, as it’s still snowbird season. At one point, we passed by a gentleman holding a Patriots bag. Both Brooke and I could not keep a straight face and we straight-up stared at him trying to figure out why he looked familiar. After passing, Sean confirmed our suspicions…it was the Patriots owner we just bumped shoulders with. That whole 3-second interaction led to a long text thread between me and Brooke where we spent the evening talking about Robert Kraft and why he might be in town (sorry Sean!).
We had such a great time together that they invited me to third wheel their last dinner in town. If it wasn’t their last evening together, I would have crashed their date night, because our time together was too short! But also, I kind of crashed it with the number of texts Brooke and I exchanged that evening!
Cannot wait to reunite with these two for their Carolina Inn wedding in Chapel Hill!
