For the moment Grace & Felix reached out to me, I was so excited to spend an evening with them for their engagement session. Felix pulled off quite the surprise proposed to Grace while they were visiting Savannah, Georgia. [In case you’re new around here, Savannah is one of my FAVORITE southern cities!] Felix led Grace to the fountain in Forsyth Park and as he got down on one knee, he asked her to spend the rest of her life with him. Sigh. 

Grace is playful, easygoing and as you will see from the photos, the darling dress she wore fit her personality just perfectly. I loved how comfortable both of them were in front of the camera. They were in their own little own little world. Being flirty and cute with each other and really extremely playful. [This makes my job a breeze and so much fun!] It is always our hope that an engagement session would allow us the opportunity to get to know our couples well and for them to get to know us too. So when a conversation flows naturally and we are able to just walk around, getting to know one another and snap some pictures along the way, it makes my little photographer heart so happy. We explored downtown Tampa [they had their first date here], stopping every time that yummy light caught my eye. We ended our session by the water because that’s where Felix enjoys spending his free time.  I loved seeing his face light up as he talked about fishing and being out on a boat. Such a sweet time together! Looking forward to their Fall wedding.
