“Finally, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think on these things.” (Philippians 4:8)

That verse came to mind at the end of the night, because, although it rained and although a garter (or two) went missing, these two were focused on the RIGHT things, not allowing their joy to be stolen by details. Another thing that stood out was the way these two were so intentional with their families and their friends… and with us. I told Wayne that the sincerity behind their kindness inspired me to be MORE intentional in my relationships. I was so encouraged that I even emailed Savannah after the wedding about how much of an impact their family left on us. Mark and Savannah both were raised to make everyone feel like they were incredibly important and valued. Their complete attention to you, on their wedding day, made you feel like you were the only one in the room. I am certain that their marriage is even greater for the great effort they take to CHOOSE to put others first.

Thankful for the kind of pure love that was reflected.
